Note: English 10: Reading and Writing in Law and Public Safety is a UC-designated honors course. This course increases and deepens student knowledge of the content and skills of  English-Language Arts through the lens of a potential applicant in the law and public safety field. In this course, students research the complex nature of law and public safety professions, researching legal cases and legal and ethical dilemmas faced by those working in public safety positions. By the end of the course, students also develop a profound understanding of the physical and psychological demands faced by those who serve in public safety roles.
